what do you mean by ‘All things creative’?
We are your boutique creative studio. High end, top quality, sustainably minded, creative goodness. There are many creative arms to Ranger - we are designers, painters, illustrators, potters, educators, therapists. Give us your designs project, blank wall to paint, art commissions or any workshop - we are here for it all!

Where are your workshops located?
We have two locations (and are opening in Mount Maunganui soon).
34 Beach Road, Waihi Beach, the beautiful iconic Beach Motors building.

Why are your workshops so good?
All of our workshops are catered to each booking. we are passionate about creativity, education and sustainability. our tutors are fine art based so have a large pool of skills. our materials are high quality, sustainable and carefully curated to make sure your experience in studio is top quality.

Who are our tutors?
Our tutors are all passionate about education and creativity. All tutors are required to undergo a police checks and will complete our unique Ranger tutor workshop before they start teaching. Please get in touch if you are interested in joining the team.

Our head tutor is jess, she studied Fine Art at Whitecliffe College, has had a number of exhibitions and attended two artist residencies. she began art teaching in Auckland in 2014, and after combining her passion for creativity and education; Ranger Studio first began in 2019. Ranger launched with our focus on workshop collaborations and supporting local creatives to showcase their works, which quickly developed when we learned more about art therapy and how we could provide the most effective workshops in New Zealand. Our workshops focus on hands on skills, learning creative techniques to help with your wellbeing and providing a space to learn, connect and meet new people.

You design?
Yup we do all things creative. We have experience in print production of magazines and books, we have designed signage, digital assets, packaging and complete full brand packages. Our books are currently open so get in touch with your project ideas.
